DSM 6.1-15101 beschikbaar voor update

Er is een update beschikbaar voor DSM 6.1 nu 6.1.1 genoemd, die tevens allerlei veiligheidsupdates uit vorige updates meeneemt. Ga je niet telkens mee in de updates dan is het nu wel aan te raden omdat in een keer veel veiligheidsgaten worden gedicht.

Anders dan bij de vorige update zal er deze keer wel een herstart plaatsvinden. Het is zelfs de eerste waarschuwing in de release notes!

Mocht je de melding voor automatische updates aan hebben staan dan kan het zijn dat de update nog niet zichtbaar is. Synology zet de update niet meteen voor alle werelddelen tegelijk open om overbelasting te voorkomen. Wel kun je de update handmatig downloaden en installeren.

Het probleem dat bij de vorige update bestond, dat er wel een melding en zelfs release notes waren, maar geen nieuwe software, lijkt bij deze release opgelost te zijn.
